5th Annual Peter Makris Memorial Ride

The NASWA Resort will again host the official kick off of Motorcycle Week:                                                          

 

Enjoy great riding, sumptuous buffets, live music and a full day and night of merriment as we remember the NASWA Patriarch, Peter Makris, and his efforts to serve his community and help create the Laconia Fire Department Life Saving Fund.  The fun starts early on Saturday, June 11, so BOOK NOW starting FRIDAY, June 10 to be ready for a huge breakfast before the ride!

 

This State Police and antique fire truck escorted ride around the Lake benefits the Laconia Fire Dept. and the Easter Seals NH "Veterans Count" Program.  Great mid-week and first weekend rates are available so CALL NOW and don't miss this chance for the morning "feet up" ride around the Lake and then boogie your boots off at the NAZBar Beach Bar & Grill the rest of the day!

June 8th - 17th: 89th Laconia Motorcycle Week

Pack your Saddlebags!  It’s Almost Time for the 89^th Laconia Motorcycle Week

 

Laconia, NH -- As  Laconia 89th  Motorcycle Rally is in final countdown, “America’s Original Riding Rally” prepares to welcome guests from around the country to this hotbed of riding heritage, June 8-17.

 

Bikers from across the nation and Canada are eagerly counting down these final days until it’s time to start their engines and head for the “Live Free or Die” State! June’s Laconia Motorcycle Week brings the promise of breathtaking rides through winding roads, charming small towns, farmland with stunning lake vistas, scenic State Parks, and The White Mountain National Forest, home of the famous Kangamangus Trail.  Other attractions like the Winnipesaukee Scenic Railroad, bike climbs up Mt. Washington, the Hill Climb/Drag Races at Gunstock Mountain Resort and Laconia’s own Gypsy Tours add destination riding or day trips. 

 

For spectators, The New Hampshire Motor Speedway offers racing action from USCRA’s Vintage Races to Short track Races and of course, the 89th Loudon Classic Super Bike Race.  “The Weirs,” Laconia’s famous beachfront is the bikers’ town center, and offers hundreds of vendors serving every rider’s needs.   Be sure to have your photo taken in front of the iconic Weirs Beach sign!

3rd Annual NASWA Day

June 29, 2010 The NASWA Celebrated their 75th Anniversary.  Governor John Lynch commended the staff of the resort and recognized their 75 years of dedication to the Lakes Region Community and the State of New Hampshire.

12th Annual HK Powersports Poker Run for Easter Seals NH

12th Annual Land & Lake Poker Run, presented by HK Powersports is an event that not only raises money for Easter Seals, but raises the Summer fun level for Laconia!
