3 NH Golf Courses near Lake Winnipesaukee
- Oak Hills Golf Course in Meredith, NH, is a nine-hole, par-34 public course that’s perfect for beginners and youngsters but challenging enough for an old pro. Known as arguably the most affordable facility in the Lakes Region, Oak Hills is ideal for families still getting a feel for the game.
- Den Brae Golf Course is a third-generation facility in the village of Sanbornton operating since 1958. This nine-hole, par-36 is one of the Granite States hidden gems of golf, offering a quick nine.
- Waukewan Golf Club provides 18 distinct holes rife with panoramic views, a fully stocked pro shop, and excellent practice facilities. This par-72 is located in the heart of the Lakes Region in Center Harbor and is exemplified by reasonable elevation changes, native pine stands, and plenty of challenging water features.
- Lochmere Golf & Country Club in Tilton, NH, is arguably the Lakes Region’s most exciting course. This 18-hole regulation facility boasts 6,697 acres of scenic fairways and a par of 72. With a course rating of 72.7 and a slope of 130 on bent grass, Golf Digest gives Lochmere an astounding 4.5 stars!
